Jarek Tomszak
October 3 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
Jarek Tomszak is a Polish-American poet, fiction writer, screenwriter, and multimedia artist whose creative body of work bridges dark speculative fiction, high-concept thrillers, philosophical poetry, and experimental video art. Across mediums and languages, his work is unified by an exploration of existential isolation, industrial surrealism, technological alienation, and the increasingly blurred boundaries between authentic human experience and manufactured artifice.
Across all of Tomszak’s projects—whether a tech-thriller novel, a surreal short story, or a piece of video poetry—a distinct artistic signature emerges. Critics often highlight his lyrical, highly visual prose style, which reflects his poetic background. His work stands out for its ability to balance suspenseful, accessible narrative arcs with unsettling questions about moral ambiguity, identity, institutional power, and the nature of truth in an automated world.
